Las Vegas--One of America's Dumbest Cities

I know the fact that Las Vegas is among the dumbest cities in America does not surprise several of my blog followers, many of whom live in Vegas.

It's the tourists who usually view the city as being hip and cool.  Well, the strip might be hip and cool but there's much more to this city than the strip.  I took a tourist to see the real side of Las Vegas where the homeless are living on the sidewalk.  She was shocked but what really woke her up was when her car was almost stolen as she went inside McDonalds.  As she stepped outside two unknown men were inside her car trying to get it started.  She started screaming and they ran.  She left the city immediately not to return.  After that she finally started listening to what I had to say about the city.

Now, don't misunderstand me.  Las Vegas is not really a violent city for the normal everyday person who minds his business.  I believe the violence is mostly gang-on-gang related or domestic.  There are worse cities in the U.S. to live, for example, Washington, D.C.

It really bothers me when someone tells me how great the city is and they have only been on the strip.  The drivers are crazy and if you have any idea why this city has a low IQ average then you only need to drive on the streets to find that out.

Deductions were made for lack of college education, book purchases, and voter engagement. Las Vegas ranked just above Fresno, and rounding out the bottom five are San Antonio, Louisville, and Memphis.

It's difficult for me to describe the situation here, but I'll attempt to do so.  It's like a dumb cloud has covered the city (in the desert!) and is raining stupidity everywhere.  The fog is overbearing and weighs down the thoughts of what used to be normal people.  Soon afterwards they get "rained on" too much and soon they are dumb like the rest of the city.  It's overbearing and even the best people eventually get the dumb virus.  The only problem is a vaccination has not been developed and no cure is in sight.  You just have to suffer until your brain rots out.  I know there are many people alive in this city who do not have a frontal lobe in their brain.  In other words, there are either an animal or a vegetable.  Being in the city is like Zombieland only you wish you could take a bat and hit some of them like Woody Harrelson did in the movie.  Wouldn't that be sweet?  If this was called Third World, I would take it as a complement.

The only thing that really disappoints me is Vegas was not ranked number one, but with the poor education system and ACORN registering Democratic voters, we are a shoe in for the number one spot next year.  And when the city grabs the top spot, there will be a city-wide celebration unlike anything this city has witnessed.  I can't wait for the celebration and dancing in the streets!
