Three Pieces to Mate

Yesterday I was reading a page from Jacob Aagaard's Attacking Manual 2. On page 25 he referenced a paragraph from Colin Crouch's Attacking Technique. Colin Crouch says: "To conduct a successful kingside attack, you must be prepared to ensure that you have enouch material in reserve to force checkmate. In general, a successful kingside attack will need at least three pieces participating: one to be sacrificed and two to give checkmate."

The game below is a perfect illustration of this.
