Here's What I've Been Up To Lately

I haven't written much lately because I've been busy on some personal projects.

(1)  I've created a new Chess Openings Wizard Professional database on the Budapest Gambit.  It's a fantastic opening, but you have to know some lines or you will get grinded down to a painful loss.  But, believe me, it's playable.  I analayzed the database with Rybka and I'm fully satisified the opening in playable on any level even 2700 level.  I have several databases that I'm willing to share.

(2)  I tested the Speed Learning function on Chess Openings Wizard.  I took 300 positions and went over them repeatedly for about five or six times during the day.  I varied the speed each time.  Then I performed a Speed Learning Test to see how well I remembered the positions.  I got 269 out of 300 correct.  That's pretty good but I think I can do better.  I will find some way to incorporate this into my training program that I plan on developing.

(3)  I've been reading about the origins of Christianity.  What I learned has totally changed my view on Christianity.  Christianity came from the Jewish Mysteries.  The Jewish Mysteries came from the Egyptian Mysteries.  That's the simple way to put it, but it's a little more to it than that.  I've learned how the Church has taken the spirtual lessons from the bible and essentially made a history lesson out of it.  In other words, they have taken the message literal whereas the bible is really just full of allegorical messages.  So, the Church by making a history lesson out of the bible have hidden the true spirtual meanings.  Have you ever wondered why you sat in church and felt like you were in history class?  I know I did.  No record of Jesus exists.  The Romans kept very meticulous records and they didn't have any record of Jesus.  This would anger many christians if I were to tell them.  I mean we have records and accounts of the Greek, Plato, who lived several hundred years before Jesus.  Can Christians explain the uncanny similarities between today's Christianity and the Mystery Religions of the ancient Middle East and Asia?  What about all the pagan holidays worshipped by Christianity?  You think that you be enough to open their eyes.  No, they are blinded by their belief system.  That's understandable.  But knowledge gives power.  The more knowledge they gain then hopefully they will wake up like I did.

(4)  I'm on Day 39 on my Brain Wave exercises and some hypnosis tracks.  I feel like I have so much more energy now and my mind feels so much sharper now.  I know the hypnosis is working for sure; however, I have a hard time saying for sure the brain wave exercises are working.  I believe it is, but how do I measure something like that?  I plan on continuing.  I created a journal to help keep me on track.  For some reason documentating my training helps keep me on track.

(5)  My next project is to focus more on chess improvement.  I will take the Botvinnik scientific approach although my method might not resemble his at all.  So, in the next few days I might brain storm and try to get some ideas on a method of improvement in this game.  I'd like to touch on openings (but only about 25% of my training), tactics (I can improve here for sure), strategy/positional play/middlegame play, and endgame play.  I might start off going over the fundamentals once more, skipping over the things I have a good grasp on and trying to pick up on the things I'm weak on.  I find that by filling in these gaps before that my game improved.  The fundamentals are important.  I plan on creating a journal for chess also.  I never tried a chess journal but it might work.

(6)  I might try consider some physical conditioning like pushups, cardio and ab work.  But that's down the road.

Cheers

Paul
