Karpov-Kasparov match 21-25 September 2009

Tomorrow the match between the former world champions, Karpov and Kasparov will begin.  For details on the match visit the official site on the link below:

Who will win?  Remember Karpov won the last rapid match between the two.  Also, I believe Karpov has been taking this match much more serious than Kasparov.  Sure, Kasparov did some training with Carlsen I'm sure; however, I'm not sure how his mental attitude will be.  He's probably really wanting revenge for his last defeat against Karpov in New York; however, Karpov just dropped out of the top 100 FIDE rating for the first time since he has entered it.  So, in my opinion, Karpov really has something to prove.  In fact, he's hired a team of GMs to assist him in beating Kasparov.  It's hard to beat Father Time though and Karpov is 57 years old.  Kasparov is relatively young at 46 and was known for his enormous energy.

My best is still on Karpov.  What do you think?
