Are You a Tactical Genius?

I created a small test on Tactics, specifically the Pin. The test consists of approximately 14 tactical positions altogether worth a total of 623 points. Note: There is a 300 second time limit for each question. So you have to think fast.

Here's the grading criteria:

501-623: Tactical Genius or a Cheater Who Uses Rybka
380-500: Master Tactician
255-379: Good or darn lucky
130-378: I have potential but am lazy.
45-129: Village Idiot; possibly missing frontal lobe of brain
0-45: My blood alcohol level is three times the normal limit; or I have the IQ of a pig.

I have two versions of the test: (1) for "Professional" Chessbase users and (2) for those who are not Professional Chessbase users.

Instructions for those who are Professional Chessbase users:

- Download the Tactics_the Pin.cbv file from here: http://www.esnips.com/web/Tactics1

- Open Chessbase and open the file.

Instructions for those who are not "Professional" Chessbase Users:

- Download Chessbase Light here: http://www.chessbase.com/download/cblight/index.asp?newsid=5654

- Create a folder on your computer

- Go to this location http://www.esnips.com/web/mcgaughp-Tactics and download the 12 Tactics file to your folder on your computer.

- Open Chessbase Light and find the folder you downloaded the files to and open.

Cheers

Paul
