Flashbacks of Hatred

I heard about the shooting at the Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas this morning. I listened to a radio show last night and a psychic warned law enforcement and security officials to be on high alert today. Maybe just a good guess, I don't know. Here's his warning:

We are in a Labor cycle until the thirteenth, with the usual roll up your sleeves and take care of your responsibilities and duties...this cycle often has health issues to deal with ( not just in Congress ), and one way to deal with this energy is to see and feel the Spiritual content and wizening available through the efforts and challenges you encounter.

A reminder: Mercury is retrograde until Jan. 15 with the usual mechanical and communication problems...Life goes on, but new contacts and activities may not work out...best to put efforts on old and unfinished activities...

Today has transportation problems, get an early start and be mindful and defensive as you go...A good day to deal with issues close to or in your home...Not a good day for shopping and the Marketplace is driven by worries....Go over finances calmly when you go over expenses...Emotionalism can run high in meetings, demonstrations and unmet expectations...A good day to fix things, organize and analyze...Do research...

Today's shooting at the courthouse made me flash back to an incident in 1993 that I could have been a witness to had my friend and I changed our travel plans.

In 1993, my friend and I were travelling to CIA Headquarters. Only a few days prior a shooting occurred on a street outside the complex. A Pakistani gunman sprayed his AK-47 at several cars that were backed up at the stop sign. I thought how helpless they were. Then a sobering thought came to my mind as my friend and I sat in the traffic at the same spot. I was glad we didn't change our travel plans to come on that day.

Also in 1995 I was sitting on a bus outside a museum in Cairo, Egypt. Images flashed though my mind of an attack there. Nothing psychic. It's something that would have been on any American's mind. We had security on board carrying a machine gun, but that won't stop somebody who's hell bent on killing you. Almost a year to the day later, I heard of an attack on tourists there. They were gunned down in the buses.
